Doedsmaghird is a new project by Yusaf "Vicotnik" Parvez, a leading figure in the Norwegian metal scene and founder of Dødheimsgard, along with French multi-instrumentalist and Dødheimsgard guitarist Camille Giraudeau. The band was formed in 2023 in Oslo, Norway. Their debut album, "Omniverse Consciousness," was released on October 11, 2024, under Peaceville Records. The album was recorded and mixed by Vicotnik, with mastering by Tom Kvålsvoll at Kvalsonic Lab in Norway. Doedsmaghird focuses on avant-garde and industrial black metal, with their music characterized by raw urgency and spontaneity, reflected in dark lyrics and intense compositions.
