Dokken is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Don Dokken, guitarist George Lynch, bassist Jeff Pilson, and drummer Mick Brown. The band achieved commercial success in the 1980s with albums such as "Tooth and Nail" (1984), "Under Lock and Key" (1985), and "Back for the Attack" (1987). Their most notable songs include "Alone Again," "In My Dreams," and "Burning Like a Flame." In 1989, their live album "Beast from the East" was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. The band has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
