cd - Dolores Gibson & Richard Lewis
Dolores Gibson and Richard Lewis were musicians active on the West Coast of the United States during the 1950s. Lewis debuted in 1949 as a pianist with The Rhythm Riffers. He later collaborated with Marvin Phillips, recording under the name Marvin & Johnny. In 1954, he teamed up with vocalist Dolores Gibson, and together they recorded "Hey, Little Boy" for the Aladdin label. Lewis also released the answer song "Hey Little Girl." After 1954, both disappeared from the music scene. Gibson reappeared in 1960 with several singles recorded with the Johnny Otis Orchestra. Their music, blending blues and rhythm and blues, remains a valuable contribution to American musical history. The products available from the artist Dolores Gibson & Richard Lewis include CDs.
