Doug "Cosmo" Clifford is an American drummer, best known as a founding member of Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). After CCR disbanded in 1972, he released a solo album titled "Cosmo" and later collaborated with CCR bassist Stu Cook in the Don Harrison Band. In 1995, Clifford and Cook formed Creedence Clearwater Revisited, performing live versions of CCR songs. In 2020, Clifford released "Magic Window," featuring recordings from 1985. This was followed by "California Gold" in 2022, featuring vocals by Bobby Whitlock. Clifford is recognized for his contributions to rock music, and his work has influenced many drummers.
