Dudley Perkins is an American rapper and singer from Oxnard, California. He began his career in 1995 under the name Declaime on tha Alkaholiks' album 'Coast II Coast'. In 2003, he released his debut album 'A Lil' Light' under his own name, produced by Madlib. This was followed by 'Expressions (2012 A.U.)' in 2006, again in collaboration with Madlib. Perkins is known for his unique style that blends hip-hop, funk, and soul. He has collaborated with artists such as Georgia Anne Muldrow and Quasimoto. His music is released under the Stones Throw Records label.
