E-L-R is a Swiss trio formed in 2016, consisting of bassist and vocalist I.R., guitarist and vocalist S.M., and drummer M.K. Their music blends elements of post-metal, doom metal, and shoegaze, creating atmospheric and hypnotic soundscapes. They released their debut album, "Mænad," in September 2019 under Prophecy Productions. The album is inspired by the mythical Maenads, female followers of the Greek god Dionysus, and features collaborations with artists such as Colin H. van Eeckhout from Amenra and Ryanne van Dorst from Dool. In 2022, they released their second album, "Vexier."
