Eddie Fisher was a jazz guitarist born in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1943. He began his career in St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked with blues great Albert King as his bandleader. Fisher later embarked on a solo career, releasing "The Third Cup" with the Eddie Fisher Quintet in 1969, an album that blended elements of jazz, funk, and soul. This album was recorded at Oliver Sain's studio in St. Louis and gained international recognition after distribution through Chess Records. Fisher continued recording additional albums, including "The Next One Hundred Years" and "Hot Lunch." In 2004, he was inducted into the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame.
