cd - Eela Craig
Eela Craig was an Austrian rock band founded in Linz in 1970. Their music combined progressive rock with jazz and classical influences, often featuring Christian lyrics. Their 1971 debut album, "Eela Craig," drew comparisons to bands like Emerson, Lake & Palmer and King Crimson. Notable works include "One Niter" (1976), "Hats of Glass" (1977), and "Missa Universalis" (1978), a musical interpretation of a Catholic mass in four languages. The band remained active until 1988 and reunited for a one-time performance in 1995.
