Efterklang is a Danish musical group known for their experimental approach to post-rock, dream pop, and neoclassical dark wave. In 2007, they released the album "Parades," which was recorded over 18 months and featured more than 30 guest musicians. In 2008, they collaborated with the Danish National Chamber Orchestra to perform this album live, leading to the release of "Performing Parades" in 2009. This project was recorded live at the Koncerthuset in Copenhagen and featured orchestral arrangements by Karsten Fundal. The albums were released under the labels The Leaf Label and Rumraket.
