Ekaterina Levental is an Uzbek-Dutch mezzo-soprano and harpist specializing in classical music interpretation. Born in Uzbekistan, she later settled in the Netherlands, where she studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Together with pianist Frank Peters, she recorded the complete songs of Nikolai Medtner, with the fifth and final volume, "Geweihter Platz," released in December 2024. This series has been recognized for revitalizing Medtner's song repertoire. Levental is known for her precise interpretation and ability to delve deeply into the musical material.
