Elias David Moncado is a German-Spanish-Malaysian violinist born in 2001. He has won several international competitions, including the 2019 International Karol Lipiński Violin Competition in Poland. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Bayerischer Rundfunk Symphony Orchestra and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, he became a scholarship holder of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation. In 2025, he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. He plays a Giambattista Rogeri violin from around 1700, loaned to him by the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben Hamburg.
