Elvin Bishop is an American blues and rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter. In the 1960s, he was a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, with whom he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. After leaving the band, he embarked on a solo career, with his biggest hit, "Fooled Around and Fell in Love," reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1976. Bishop has released several albums, including "Ace in the Hole" (1995) and "The Blues Rolls On" (2008), the latter earning a Grammy nomination.
