Ensemble Resonanz is a German string ensemble founded in 1994 by members of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. The ensemble specializes in the interpretation of classical repertoire and contemporary music. Since 2002, it has been based in Hamburg, serving as the ensemble-in-residence at the Elbphilharmonie. Notable recordings include "Mozart: Symphonies Nos. 39–41" (2020) and "Joseph Haydn: The Seven Last Words" (2019). The ensemble has collaborated with conductors such as Riccardo Minasi and soloists like Jean-Guihen Queyras and Tabea Zimmermann. In 2024, they made their debut at the BBC Proms with a program dedicated to Mozart.
