Epitaph is a German rock band formed in Dortmund in 1969. Their music blends progressive rock with hard rock and krautrock. They released their debut album, "Epitaph," in 1971, followed by "Stop, Look and Listen" in 1972. Throughout the 1970s, they released additional albums such as "Outside the Law" (1974) and "Return to Reality" (1979). The band disbanded in 1982 but reunited in 2000 and has since released several new albums. Epitaph is known for their twin-guitar harmonies and energetic live performances.
