Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1979 in Richmond, California. The current lineup includes guitarists Gary Holt and Lee Altus, bassist Jack Gibson, drummer Tom Hunting, and vocalist Rob Dukes. Notable albums include "Bonded by Blood" (1985), "Pleasures of the Flesh" (1987), and "Fabulous Disaster" (1989). The band is considered a pioneer of thrash metal and is often mentioned as part of the genre's "big eight." Throughout their career, they have undergone several lineup changes and are currently working on a new album slated for release in 2026.
