Antoine "Fats" Domino Jr. (1928–2017) was an American singer and pianist, a pioneer of rock and roll. Born in New Orleans, his first single, "The Fat Man" (1949), is considered one of the first rock and roll recordings. His most notable hits include "Ain't That a Shame" (1955) and "Blueberry Hill" (1956). Throughout his career, he sold over 65 million records.
