Floor Jansen is a Dutch singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. She began her career in 1997 as the singer for After Forever, releasing five studio albums with the band. After After Forever disbanded in 2009, she formed ReVamp and released two albums. In 2012, she joined Nightwish as a touring vocalist and became a permanent member in 2013. In 2023, she released her first solo album, 'Paragon'. Jansen is renowned for her extensive vocal range and ability to perform across various musical genres, including symphonic metal, power metal, and gothic metal.
