Fredrick Jamel Tipton, known professionally as Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper and songwriter from Gary, Indiana. He began his career in 2004, releasing several mixtapes, including "Full Metal Jackit". In 2013, he released his debut album "ESGN". Gibbs collaborated with producer Madlib on the albums "Piñata" (2014) and "Bandana" (2019), as well as with producer The Alchemist on "Fetti" (2018) and "Alfredo" (2020).
