Fufanu is an Icelandic alternative rock band from Reykjavík, formed in 2008. Initially operating as a techno duo under the name Captain Fufanu, they expanded their sound to include live instruments and rebranded as Fufanu in 2015. Their music is influenced by post-punk and electronic genres, drawing inspiration from bands like Kraftwerk, Simple Minds, Roxy Music, and New Order. They have released three albums: "Few More Days to Go" (2015), "Sports" (2017), and "The Dialogue Series" (2018). The band has gained recognition for their energetic performances and unique sound that blends elements of alternative rock, electronica, and post-punk.
