Gareth Lockrane is a British jazz flautist, composer, and arranger. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he collaborated with musicians such as the Fishwick brothers and Osian Roberts. In 2002, he formed the band Grooveyard with saxophonist Alex Garnett; their album "Put the Cat Out" won the Best European Jazz Group award at the 2003 Granada Jazz Festival. In 2009, he released "No Messin'" with his septet, which won Best Album at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards. In 2017, he released "Fistfight at the Barndance" with his big band. Lockrane is also an active educator, teaching at the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music. The products available from the artist Gareth Lockrane include CDs.
