Gavin Friday is an Irish singer, songwriter, and actor, known as a founding member of the post-punk band Virgin Prunes. After leaving the band in 1986, he embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album "Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves" in 1989. This was followed by "Adam 'n' Eve" (1992), "Shag Tobacco" (1995), and "Catholic" (2011). In 2024, he released "Ecce Homo," produced by Dave Ball of Soft Cell. Friday is recognized for his eclectic musical style, encompassing rock, alternative rock, and electronic music.
