Gerard Presencer is an English jazz trumpeter, born on September 12, 1972, in Watford, Hertfordshire. He began his career at age 11 as the youngest trumpeter in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. At 18, he gained prominence with his solo on US3's "Cantaloop." He has released several albums as a leader, including "Platypus" (1998), "The Optimist" (2000), and "Groove Travels" (2016). Presencer has collaborated with artists such as Charlie Watts, Stan Tracey, and Peter King.
