Gerardo Jerez Le Cam is an Argentine composer and pianist born in 1963 in Buenos Aires. He studied at the Dipolito Conservatory and continued his education under Alberto Mercanti. In 1992, he moved to France, where he collaborated with Romanian violinist Iacob Maciuca, influencing his musical style by blending tango with Eastern European gypsy music. He founded several musical ensembles, including Cuarteto Jerez and Translave. Notable works include the albums "Tangos para Bach" and "Barok Tango."
