Giovanni Falzone is an Italian trumpeter and composer, born on May 22, 1974, in Lippstadt. He studied at the V. Bellini Conservatory in Palermo and the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, earning a diploma in jazz. From 1996 to 2004, he served as the principal trumpeter in the Milan Symphony Orchestra under conductors such as Claudio Abbado and Riccardo Chailly. Since 2004, Falzone has dedicated himself exclusively to jazz, releasing several albums including "Around Ornette" and "L'Albero delle Fate". He has received awards such as "Top Jazz 2004" and "Django d'Or" for best new talent. Falzone has also taught at conservatories in Milan and Brescia.
