Glass Animals is a British music group from Oxford, formed in 2010. The band consists of Dave Bayley (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Drew MacFarlane (guitar, keyboards), Edmund Irwin-Singer (bass guitar, keyboards), and Joe Seaward (drums). Their musical style blends elements of indie rock, psychedelic pop, and electronic rock. Their 2014 debut album, "Zaba," featured the single "Gooey," which achieved platinum certification in the United States. The second album, "How to Be a Human Being" (2016), was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Their third album, "Dreamland" (2020), included the hit "Heat Waves," which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2022, the band received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
