Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The current lineup consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, guitarist Tony Rombola, and drummer Shannon Larkin. The band has released eight studio albums, including "Godsmack" (1998), "Awake" (2000), "Faceless" (2003), "IV" (2006), "The Oracle" (2010), "1000hp" (2014), "When Legends Rise" (2018), and "Lighting Up the Sky" (2023). Their music blends elements of hard rock and heavy metal. Godsmack has received four Grammy nominations and was named Rock Artist of the Year by the Billboard Music Awards in 2001.
