Gordon Lee is an American jazz pianist and composer, born in 1953 in New York. Since 1998, he has been a member of drummer Mel Brown's sextet, performing regularly in Portland. In 1989, he released the album "Gordon Bleu" with this group, which won the Hennessy Jazz Search competition. In 2014, he released the album "Tuesday Night" with the Mel Brown Septet, featuring tracks like "Full Moon" and "Low Profile". Lee is known for his innovative improvisations and contributions to the hard bop genre.
