Grobschnitt was a German rock band formed in 1970 in Hagen. Their music combined psychedelic rock, progressive rock, and krautrock. Notable albums include "Rockpommel's Land" (1977) and "Solar Music Live" (1978). The band was renowned for their live performances, which featured pyrotechnics and theatrical elements. The song "Solar Music" was a key part of their concerts, often lasting over an hour. Grobschnitt disbanded in 1989 but reunited in 2007 for a series of concerts.
