Grooverider, born Raymond Bingham, is a British DJ and producer recognized as a pioneer of the drum and bass scene. Alongside DJ partner Fabio, he began his career in the 1980s at illegal rave parties and later gained prominence at clubs like 'Rage' at Heaven. In 1998, he released his sole solo album, 'Mysteries of Funk', produced in collaboration with Optical, featuring singles 'Rainbows of Colour' and 'Where's Jack The Ripper?'. Grooverider is also known for remixing tracks by artists such as Jonny L and Roni Size/Reprazent. His contribution to the drum and bass genre is undeniable.
