Hans Anselm Big Band is a German jazz orchestra based in Berlin. It evolved from the Hans Anselm Quintet with the aim of expanding its musical interpretation. They released the album "Liquid Circle" in 2020 under the Double Moon Records label. Their music combines delicate spheres, unconventional grooves, wind instruments in various colors, and electronic effects, creating a unique sound that disrupts traditional listening habits. The ensemble has been supported by Berlin's Senate Department for Culture and Europe since 2019.
