Haruomi Hosono is a Japanese musician and producer known for his work in jazz fusion, exotica, and city pop genres. In 1973, he released his debut solo album "Hosono House". This was followed by "Tropical Dandy" (1975), "Bon Voyage co." (1976), and "Paraiso" (1978), forming his "Tropical Trilogy". Hosono was also a founding member of the band Yellow Magic Orchestra, which had a significant influence on electronic music. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various artists and contributed to the development of Japanese popular music.
