Heilung is a European experimental folk band formed in 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The group consists of German vocalist Kai Uwe Faust, Danish producer Christopher Juul, and Norwegian singer Maria Franz. Their music draws from texts and runic inscriptions of Germanic peoples from the Iron Age and Viking era. They utilize authentic instruments such as frame drums, bones, and reconstructed swords. Their discography includes the albums "Ofnir" (2015), "Futha" (2019), and "Drif" (2022). Heilung has collaborated on soundtracks for video games, including "Senua's Saga: Hellblade II."
