Hole was an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1989 by vocalist and guitarist Courtney Love and guitarist Eric Erlandson. Their second album, "Live Through This" (1994), was commercially successful, achieving platinum status in the United States. The band was known for its raw sound and lyrics addressing themes such as body image and abuse. Hole disbanded in 2002 but reunited in 2010 to release the album "Nobody's Daughter".
