Hüsker Dü was an American punk rock band formed in 1979 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The members were Bob Mould (guitar, vocals), Grant Hart (drums, vocals), and Greg Norton (bass guitar, vocals). The band started as a hardcore punk group and later transitioned to alternative rock. Their most notable albums include "Zen Arcade" (1984), "New Day Rising" (1985), and "Warehouse: Songs and Stories" (1987). The band disbanded in 1988. Mould and Hart continued their musical careers as solo artists and in other projects. Hüsker Dü is considered one of the key bands of the 1980s American indie scene.
