Icy Demons is an experimental music group founded by Griffin Rodriguez (known as Blue Hawaii) and Christopher Powell (known as Pow Pow). The band has released three albums: "Fight Back!" (2004), "Tears of a Clone" (2006), and "Miami Ice" (2008). Their music blends elements of the Canterbury scene, Krautrock, and influences from Frank Zappa. Members have included The Diminisher, Moylando Calrissian, and Dylan Ryan. Rodriguez operates the Shape Shoppe recording studio in Chicago, where he has collaborated with various artists, including Beirut and Count Bass D.
