Iggy & The Stooges was an American rock band formed in 1967 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Iggy Pop, guitarist Ron Asheton, bassist Dave Alexander, and drummer Scott Asheton. The band is known for its raw sound and energetic performances, which influenced the development of punk rock. Their notable albums include "The Stooges" (1969), "Fun House" (1970), and "Raw Power" (1973). After disbanding in 1974, the group reunited in 2003, releasing albums "The Weirdness" (2007) and "Ready to Die" (2013). In 2010, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
