Iron Monkey is an English sludge metal band formed in Nottingham in 1994. The original lineup consisted of Justin Greaves (drums), Johnny Morrow (vocals), Jim Rushby (guitar), Steve Watson (guitar), and Doug Dalziel (bass). The band released their debut album "Iron Monkey" in 1996, followed by "Our Problem" in 1998. After disbanding in 1999, they reunited in 2017 and released the album "9-13". In 2024, they released their fourth studio album "Spleen & Goad". Their music is influenced by bands such as Grief, Black Sabbath, and Eyehategod.
