cd - Jacob Olie Trio

The Jacob Olie Trio is a Dutch piano trio founded in 2016 in Amsterdam. It consists of violinist Diet Tilanus, cellist Jurrian van der Zanden, and pianist Jacobus den Herder. The trio debuted at Amsterdam's Muziekgebouw aan het IJ and has since performed throughout the Netherlands. They focus on lesser-known works by composers such as Arno Babajanian, Frank Martin, Isang Yun, Paul Schoenfield, and Arvo Pärt, combining these with classical repertoire. In 2023, they released the album "Travellers," featuring works by Babajanian, Martin, and Dvořák. All members play instruments provided by the National Musical Instruments Fund.
