Jah Lion, born Patrick Lloyd Francis, was a Jamaican reggae singer, deejay, and producer. He began his career in the 1960s as a member of The Mediators and later gained recognition as a deejay under the name Jah Lloyd. In 1976, he collaborated with producer Lee "Scratch" Perry, who renamed him Jah Lion. This partnership resulted in the album "Colombia Colly" released the same year. His music was characterized by roots reggae and toasting styles. In addition to his own work, he produced recordings for other artists, including The Mighty Diamonds.
