Jake Shimabukuro is an American ukulele virtuoso and composer from Honolulu, Hawaii, born on November 3, 1976. He is known for his fast and complex ukulele playing that incorporates elements of jazz, blues, funk, rock, bluegrass, classical, folk, and flamenco. Notable albums include "Grand Ukulele" (2012), "Peace Love Ukulele" (2011), and "Jake & Friends" (2021). In 2024, he released "Blues Experience" in collaboration with Mick Fleetwood. Shimabukuro gained international fame in 2006 when his rendition of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" became a viral sensation on YouTube.
