James Gang was an American rock band formed in 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. The original trio consisted of Joe Walsh (guitar, vocals), Tom Kriss (bass guitar), and Jim Fox (drums). Their second album, "James Gang Rides Again" (1970), featured the hit "Funk #49". After Walsh's departure in 1971, the band continued with various guitarists but did not achieve the same success. The group disbanded in 1977 but occasionally reunited, including a performance in 2022 at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert. The products available from the artist James Gang include CDs.
