Jean-Michel Dayez is a French pianist who studied at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. He is a laureate of the Antwerp International Competition and the Meyer and Emile Bernheim foundations. Dayez is a member of the Arties collective and has collaborated with artists such as Xavier Gagnepain and Nicolas Deletaille. His recordings include Fauré's complete works for cello and piano, Beethoven's complete sonatas for cello and piano, and a monographic album of composer Vincent Paulet. His album "Chausson Le littéraire" was named "album of the year" by France Musique. Dayez teaches at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in Belgium and the Conservatoire de Lille.
