Jeremy Denk is an American pianist and author, renowned for his interpretations of works by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Ives, and Ligeti. He is a recipient of the MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship and the Avery Fisher Prize. Denk has performed with major orchestras including the Chicago Symphony, New York Philharmonic, and Los Angeles Philharmonic. His recordings, such as "J.S.
