Jermaine Dupri is an American rapper, producer, and founder of So So Def Recordings. He began his career as a dancer for the group Whodini and later discovered the duo Kris Kross, writing their hit "Jump." He has collaborated with artists such as Mariah Carey, Usher, and Janet Jackson, producing numerous chart-topping songs. His solo albums include "Life in 1472" and "Instructions." In 2018, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
