Jófríður Ákadóttir, known as JFDR, is an Icelandic singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She began her musical career at 14 in Reykjavík, co-founding the groups Pascal Pinon and Samaris. As JFDR, she has released the albums "Brazil" (2017), "New Dreams" (2020), and "Museum" (2023). She has collaborated with artists such as Ólafur Arnalds and Damien Rice and composed music for the Icelandic film "Backyard Village."
