Joey Badass, born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, is an American rapper and actor from Brooklyn, New York. In 2011, he co-founded the hip-hop group Pro Era. His debut mixtape, 1999, was released in 2012, followed by Summer Knights in 2013. His first two studio albums, B4.Da.$$ (2015) and All-Amerikkkan Badass (2017), reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart. His third album, 2000, was released in 2022. Joey Badass is known for his style influenced by 1990s hip-hop and has collaborated with artists such as ScHoolboy Q. In addition to music, he appeared in the television series Mr. Robot.
