Johan Gielen is a Belgian trance musician and DJ who began his career at the age of 17. Together with Sven Maes, they formed the duo Airscape, known for tracks like "L'Esperanza" and "The Beauty of Silence". After their split in 2005, Gielen continued the Airscape project as a solo artist. In 2025, he released the album "Etherflow" under the name "Johan Gielen presents Airscape". Gielen is also known for remixing tracks by artists such as Tiësto and Chicane.
