Johanna Summer is a German jazz pianist and composer born in 1995 in Plauen. She studied jazz piano at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden and later earned a master's degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. She has released several albums, including "Schumann Kaleidoskop" (2020) and "Resonanzen" (2023), where she blends classical music with jazz improvisation. She collaborated with saxophonist Jakob Manz on the albums "The Gallery Concerts I" (2022) and "Cameo" (2025). Summer was a member of the German National Jazz Orchestra and has received awards such as the Young Munich Jazz Prize (2018) and JazzPott (2022).
