The John Butler Trio was an Australian roots rock band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. Formed in 1998 in Fremantle, the band released seven studio albums, including 'Sunrise Over Sea' (2004), 'Grand National' (2007), and 'April Uprising' (2010), all of which reached number one on the Australian charts. Their music blended alternative rock, blues rock, and folk. Known for their energetic live performances, the band received multiple awards, including ARIA Awards for Best Blues and Roots Album. In 2018, they released their final album, 'Home'.
