John Entwistle was an English musician, best known as the bassist for The Who. Nicknamed "The Ox" and "Thunderfingers," he was renowned for his technical proficiency and innovative bass guitar playing style. During his solo career, he released albums such as "Smash Your Head Against the Wall" (1971) and "Whistle Rymes" (1972). In 2024, a posthumous album titled "Rarities Oxhumed, Vol. 2" was released, featuring remastered studio recordings and live performances.
